Robert Pruett- President/ Founder/ Editor
Robert Pruett has been editor and publisher for Pleasant Living Magazine since he founded it in 1989. Robert is also president of Brandylane Publishers, Inc., editor of Women's Sourcebook, and holds an M.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in Richmond with his wife Tanya, and their cat, Cozy.
Tom Trenz- Creative Director/ Advertising Design
Tom Trenz is the creative director for Pleasant Living Magazine, as well as for Brandylane Publishers, Inc. and Women's Sourcebook. He has been a leader in the Richmond, Virginia advertising community since the 90's, where he has created award-winning advertising campaigns and television productions for local and national accounts. Originally from New York, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Tom lives with his wife Amy and two daughters near the James River in Richmond.
Marie Stephens- Office Manager
Marie Stephens, Office Manager/Accountant, is a magician with numbers and has been with PL in our Kilmarnock, Virginia office since 1993. She lives in Irvington, Virginia.
Alyssa Brew- Publisher's Assistant
Robert Pruett's daughter Alyssa, has been working in the editorial office for Pleasant Living Magazine since 2010. Alyssa aides in website content and organization, multiple office duties, and occasional writing for Pleasant Living. She is currently working on her B.S. in Sociology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and living with her husband John, two dogs and cat in Richmond, Virginia.
A retired Westmoreland County schoolteacher, Scott owns and operates Elba Auctions. He lives with his wife, Kay, at Elba along with four cats, a Jack Russel, and a flock of chickens.
Nuala studied fine arts disciplines through the Royal Society of Arts, London, and art design through the Minnesota School of Business. She is a contributing editor for Airways magazine, and a children's author. She lives in Hayes, Virginia.
Dan owns and operates Something Different Country Store and Deli in downtown Pinetree. In addition to being a master of barbeque. he is a writer and food historian; known as an Ethno-Gastronomist.
Along with being the president/ founder of Pleasant Living Magazine, Robert also contributes an Editor's Journal in every bi-monthly issue!
Steve has spent his entire life in Southern Maryland and the Northern Neck, where his family roots go back to the 1600's. Alongside his family, he spends a great amount of his time on the waters, and in the fields and woods of the lower portion of the River Country.
